Ah, yes. The "why" questions began today, or the Claire version, "what 'cuz?"
As in, "Can we watch Sesame Street after I take a bath?"
"No," replies Mommy, "Sesame Street isn't on tonight because it's Sunday."
Claire asks, "What 'cuz?"
"Do you mean, "Why?" asks Mommy.
"Yeah," replies Claire.
Yes, the dreaded day has arrived. Now I will be searching for answers as I am questioned on probably everything I say. On the plus side, it is amazing to see Claire's mind growing and learning as she searches for the answers of the universe - or at least why PBS doesn't air Sesame Street seven days a week.
